Almost every industry employs people specializing in human resources, training and labor relations because this field is essential for the welfare and success of the company. Some managers and specialists actually are self-employed and work as consultants to private and public employers. Most of the human resources jobs are held by specialists in the private sector in administrative, professional, healthcare, insurance and manufacturing organizations. Even the federal government employs human resources managers and specialists to oversee employee relations. It also makes sure that the working environment is pleasant and acceptable to employees. A good HR employee must have excellent communication skills so that he or she can deal with all types of individuals in many different circumstances.
